Allow me to introduce myself... PICS ADDED
my name is scott and i live in eastern long island, new york- but soon to be in johnson city, tennessee i am 22 years old and a college student. i received my bike on may 1,2003, and it is my first (and only... until i get zx14) motorcycle, and i have never downed it (knock on wood). i have been a forum spy on zx-12.org and bikeland for several YEARS, and only decided to create accounts recently- because it is time you all saw where the knowledge you shared went. i didnt know a single thing about motorcycles when i got it, and now i know the ins and outs. you guys, between both bikeland and zx-12.org, taught me 99% of everything i know. my sincerest thanks to all of you, especially the "originals" and "old-timers", you know who you are.
these are my zx-12r mods:
house of kolor kamelon, changes from cyan -> purple
muzzys mirror block offs
EVERYTHING shaved, signal dynamics blinker LEDs flushed into winglets (my idea)
extreme graphic moto hugger/chain guard(by far the best looking)
hotbodies undertail (highly reccomended)
clear alternatives tail light
muzzys 1375cc stroker
muzzys full carbon exhaust...
NOW a muzzys megaphone! with pcIIIr of course
chrome dipped wheels, both case covers, sprocket cover, lower forks/mounts, all 3 calipers and everything else that was gold/magnesium colored
braketech 320mm oversized axis rotors- front and back- black ductile iron (better than stainless steel, and the best without going ceramic rotors)
brembo master cylinder (custom mount reservoir)
brembo 65mm axial (34/34) calipers
ferodo sintered pads front + rear
galfer silver stainless lines, front + rear
vortex sprocket- rear 46 black anodized with chrome nuts
sprocket specialist- front 18
tsubaki sigma nickel plated chain (beautiful)
scotts billet oil filter (really cool)
puig dark smoke screen (best quality ive seen)
pazzo clutch lever
kennedy bar ends
kleen block off plates
muzzys clutch (so much better than stock)
bmc race-flow air filters
muzzys aluminum fans
had chatterbox alarm (piece of shit, then bought scorpion alarm with all the sensors- also garbage, had to pull it all out)
yuasa ytx-20 battery, soon to be 24v 2-odyssey gel cell 680s.
stock suspension, height, and wheelbase... yeah... FUN!
on the way- odyssey batteries, cox silver radiator guard, new set of wheel bearings from schnitzracing.
played around with sprocket sizes, i think stock gearing is best for a 1375. any stroker owners have suggestions?
ive spent so, so many countless hours researching and picking out the individual parts for my bike, and i really do feel that i got the best of everything. if anyone has any questions about the parts i chose, why i chose them, or how anything is performing etc, feel free to ask. it would be an honor to answer questions on forums that i learned everything from. i will post pics soon. i will be receiving the chrome dipped stuffin about 1 week, so 2 weeks i should have pics. might post pics of plastics for now...

this, of course, was before the kameleon paintjob, the chroming, and the braketech rotors. bought muzzys megaphone conversion kit to replace the carbon can. the 2003 zx-12r cosmic splendor red is such a beautiful color but doesnt compare with kameleon... everything gold/magnesium is now chromed.

k guys, i am in between classes and took a few pics of the plastics. not too great- the flash from the camera and poor lighting inside make it so it appears completely blue without purple. im gonna clean them off tomorrow (dusty etc) and put them in the sun and take better pics, but for now, check it out...

the flash on the camera made it so the chameleon paint turned completely blue, and no purple is visible... pics dont do this justice. stay tuned for better updated pics soon... let me know what you think of the blinkers in the winglets!
