Haven't been around lately/stopped by to say HI !
Hey! Nice to see Bikeland still around! 
Sorry haven't been around but old man issues kept me away; in & out of the hospital w/a buffet of issues. Then had the big one last year, multi-heart attacks/triple bypass. In hospital/rehab three months. Now out, learning how to walk again & getting back online. 
Soon as able, will be back out to garage f/tinkering. Hope to get ZRX1200 back on the road maybe by summer/fall. Have tossed walker & now daily walks using cane. Ramping up f/50ft., now up to 1/2-3/4 mile, lifting weights a little bit.
Miss the old zx12r, happy to hear the new owner is keeping it up. He rides it to shows & bike meets in the Galveston, TX area, & is keeping it up running/in good shape. Little changes since I sold it to him in 2011', has only added 500 miles so still in the ~8500 range.
That's about it for now, just thought I'd let you al know what's happening here. As long as I'm still breathing I will always be the KAW enthusiast, & hopefully riding again soon.

yeah, still is. In/Out of hospital 1/2 dozen times since above post. Now fighting Pneumonia & COPD to go w/above.
Hopefully we can still hang out a bit longer. Haven't touched the bike in 6 months. At least the Battery Tender is on it, & I've ordered a few parts for the engine rebuild/hop-up later this yr. (just got crank & a few other odds & ends to get the HP up where I like it. Still gotta order 1224 kit & cams...) When I get done, it should be a giggle bike like the ZX12R was; still kicking my azz for selling in 11'. 
All the best folks. WSBK Laguna Sega nearby next weekend; sadly can't go so couch racing for it! :P
(Oh, BTW, Vincent Hill has been on zrxoa.org a bunch if anyone's looking for him...  )

Yep... same for me for Laguna... work falls squarely on the race this year :/

ah shucks!  Made one of them little "movies" (3 pics w/music) of me in the Bikeland hat (old man style.) Got oxygen attached, big gray beard, no teeth,...I look like sh_t / corny. LOL  Enough to make a Freight Train take a dirt road! 
Guess it didn't work= gets to it fine on the Tablet, just not w/the pc. Derp....LOL

Just another check-in after 10 months...
More fun this year, diabetes 2 finally got to me...I broke me toe stubbing it in the middle of the night. Didn't realize it due to numb foot. Got very sick after a week, went to the doc, immediately to the hospital.
After a bunch of tests, they tell me toe infected (gangrene), so it must go. Oh great. It's that or die they tell me so ok off w/it. A week in the hospital they say no improvement so foot must go. A week later leg. After 3 cuts of bone off the leg, they got control of the infection. Was in hospital & rehab 6 months.
Last 8 months have been hell so if you got diabetes, best work on it folks. Hopefully will get prostheses (peg-leg) within a few months.
Now looking at finding a way to shift w/o foot. Looking at electric shifters. We still going to ride again come hell or high water.
Least the enthusiast has not died within me.

thanks man; we a few months from getting the prostheses. I just got to get the leg strong enough; they won't even measure the leg for it until I get good leg to a certain strength. After lying in bed for 8 months, it's a limp noodle. I'm hoping soon though; doing massive exercises every day trying to get it there.
Been studying for the electric shifter setup. It's going to be expensive but it's pretty straightforward.
I will ride again!
