Spacer/shim between rotor+wheel ???s
Been working on bike lately,
This is what I’ve done
2004 radial forks
2016 R1 monobloc calipers
Zx14 rotors
Zx6r wheels
Problem I’m having and was too stupid to consider is rotor offset
Both rotors need to go outward approximately 2mm (going to get some better measurements)
I have leads from a few friends I’m checking into about having a set of rotor shims cut out of aluminum shim sheet material,
Thinking of using factory gasket on zx14 that goes between rotor and wheel as template
Is this safe?
Are their any rotors available from a different Bike that have offset rotors with the same bolt pattern?

a solid spacer will be fine with the correct length bolts

Perfectly safe. Have done it several times on Yam XS 650 cafe racers with R-1 calipers and 320mm FZR discs. More difficult to get OC on fully articulated calipers though; measure twice - cut once. Use T 6061 plate; have machinist make with CNC from pattern; precision matters. Gasket pattern perfect.
