Oi!!! Newbie here.

I'm assuming this forum is based out of Vancouver?

I see there's people going to Laguna. So this board has folks who actually ride their bikes instead of posing on them then!! I like that!

I've seen people trailer their bikes from Edmonton to Sportbike West.........LOL! Then there's Ducati riders who (some of them) trailer their bikes from Vancouver to Nakusp......LOL!

Any how, might see ya down there!

yeah, we're based outa vancouver all right. tho i think vancouver area is a minimal portion of the membership. and yes, most folks here really do ride! i'v come across VERY little posers here. go to bcsportbikes.com for poseurs (excellent resource for local stuff tho).

as to sportbikewest, i'll be there! can wait. a great event run by a great guy. if ya wanna ride up w us, i'll be goin w a few friends the lillooet-lyton-meritt-kelowna route again probably. gorgous route. blain from No Limits Motorsports shoudl be joining us this year. we're all on the milder side of fast, so it's a good fast past but certainly nothign crazy. i'm a way slower rider than most folks on this board i'd say.

If the board is ran by Canadians some questions come to mind:

1. Does one have to be drunk or at least be drinking to communicate with the Canadians?

2. Does one have to say aye at the end of each sentence?

3. Do you canadians have to work on the 4th of July!

And a sense of humour!!!!!!!

I agree with your assesment of bcsportbikes, frEEk. Don't want to paint everyone with the same brush as there are some good guys there...........very few!

So you know Owen too? Small world. I have to check the dates for SB West this year as I'm going away on the 15th and 16th of August.

Does anyone know of Nicky Hayden will run as a wild card in WSB at Laguna? Maybe Honda could have him run a little interference with Bayliss?

I'll be back on the night of the 16th, so depending on how late it is, I'll ride up that night or very early the next morning.
