Hello all,

Just completed my 1st 100 miles or so on my 08 zx10 and just thought I would introduce myself and share some real world feedback. This is by no means my 1st bike and I have been riding for 13+ years now and by last bike was a 06 r6, before that a 04 gsxr1k, before that a 2002 r1, before that, a 99r1, before that a 97 gsxr 750, all the way back to a 96 zx6r. I'll post up some pics soon.

This new ninja is a new level of fast out of the box, more power that I'll ever need, even thought I suspect that after it broken in properly and I can get into it, it will reveal a whole nother world of performance. I think Kawi built the motor and then attached everything else to it for this bike. The motor spins up like it has no flywheel attached, and its real easy to stall as you have to slip the clutch a little to get her going smoothly. The slipper clutch feels seamless when downshifting as well but again I havnt dropped it from 4th to 2nd yet.

Its also feels even smaller than my r6. The reach to the bars seems a little longer than most, so it seems like you are stretched out over the bike a little more, I am about 5'11 and it kinda feels like the new ducatis with that reach over the tank. It turns pretty quick again not being broken in properly and on the new bridgestones that come with the US model, I am still pretty edgy pushing it.
