zx11 maximun horse power
hi doug
i was wondering what is the maximun horse power you have extracted out of zx11
normally aspirated, big bore. stroker crank. flatslides ,etc
my road bike 1137cc, yosh cams, 39mm flatslides, etc was making 175 hp rear wheel and 95 ft lb
torque
this winter as final fling ,raising compression from 12.4 -1 to 13 -1
1 mm oversize inlet valves
more head work on ex ports
was thinking of advancing inlet cam timing slightly as bigger valves should fill cylinders quicker
next spring and a run on the dyno will tell all

My personal experinece is 193 hp. (it would flash read to 200). It was the engine I used in my 1998 Bonneville bike. (199.444 mph)
That bike was 1140 cc (+1 mm bore, +3 mm stroke), VERY high compression, Falicon Knife rods, extensive head work (stock size valves), Muzzy X-3 cams, 41mm flat slides, Muzzy exhaust, Dyna coils, lot's of massaging everywhere.
BTW, I loaned this engine to Sam Wheeler for the EZ-Hook streamliner in October of 98 and it ran 301 mph on gasoline in that "bike".

definitly some target to aim for
a lot of people do not quite believe the 175 bhp my bike produces from what people think as old
hat type of engine
i am looking to break the 180 hp barrier with the mods i am carrying out this winter
some say the 1 mm oversize inlets will not help and some they will
when i dyno run next spring i will be able to find what has been lost/ gained and where
