AreaP 4-2-1 Installed...Wow!!

I think I received the first pipe after the dyno prototype done on Jamie's dyno. Two day delivery from California. Was packed with great care....no scratches, very nice stainless steel matte finish. 5 page instruction sheet with great details for installation and pictures.

Took two hours to install with no issues. Has an extra welded flange forward of the center stand bunper to install a cross bolt for extra stability. I did not use this option as it is very well and firmlymounted. The pipes are much larger than the slip-on AreaP CF unit, or the stock ZX-14 header. The welds and fit and finish border aircraft quality control.

It is quiet and responds instantly to throttle inputs. It has to be putting out more than 160 HP. Took a 50 mile trip last night in 82 degree weather. The temp bar had only one bar showing. No heat coming out of the engine to any degree of uncomfortability. The engine begs to be run.....lots more coming in..and lots more going out. This motor really thrives on air!

There was a tremendous change in power at all levels going from the AreaP slip on CF to the full 4-2-1 system. The combination of exhaust, map, high performance BMC air cleaner, and premium fuel really turns this bike into a monster of power.

Now we have the ZX-14 in the Concourse with bags, adjustable windshield, and shaft drive. I can't imagine having more power in this machine, or who would want more. This is the way it should come from the factory.

I have several pics taken during installation to share, but can't post them here due to size. If anyone wants some e mailed....contact me and I will gladly forward them. My address is: Goldwing.mann@yahoo.com

Ordered units are arriving today at Fuel Moto, and he is sending those orders out today as they are received. Get on the list, this is an unbelievable upgrade in power, and will put a smile on your face!

I think he's talking about the Concours 14, not the ZX14. AreaP doesn't make a full system for the ZX14 at this time - just slip on's AKAIK.
