zx12mark,

You have to use a shortened shock and adjustable links on the BMW to get the chassis perfect.

Thanks for posting this vid Lee - it's been crazy over here!

Brock i had to post it .. I have not seen that kind of adjustable drag shock for a bike .. My drag cars used Double12 way adjustable Hal shocks and gave me the adjustments to run 1.28 60 footers with a 3860 pound car with a 9 inch slick , while others in my class could never get in the mid 1.30s .. I'd put money on that shock making a ZX14 60 foot much better than the stocker ( even revalved ) could ever match ..

That's the shock on my 14 and it's worth it's weight in gold! trust me I can 60 foot 1.42 on a track with no rubber or traction compound for an outlaw race we do. It flat works!

Would you get same results with a revalved shock or the ohlins is a better shock period?

Hands down ohlins is better but roughly 1200.00 more so how fast do you want to go?

Joel, it's not necessarily about how much faster (yes your 60fts will improve if set up properly) but it's about consistency. It doesn't matter how fast your bike is, if it cant make it down the track everytime, it's worthless.
Like Brock said, it helps keep the chassis settled just as much as it makes your short times better.
