Rough numbers (max, does not address area under the curve).
Gains are rounded to the nearest 0.5 HP.
Quick calcs so if I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will let me know!
SAE:
Stock .................................. 192.4 HP
Stock + 68 miles ............... 197.13 +5 HP just adding break-in miles
Zero wt. oil and Petron .... 201.25 +4 HP
AH2 .................................... 209.82 +8.5 HP
Guhl ECU mod ................. 211.74 +2 HP
All mods compared to Stock 68 miles .... +15 HP
Last chart is STD:
Stock + 70 miles ........... 201.5
All mods above ............ 216.42 +15 HP
Add MR12 ..................... 223.89 +7.5 HP
Keep in mind that all pulls are Zero Map = No tune!

Quick question, when u get a flashed ecu why isn't there any tuning to the fueling instead of waiting for pcv?

Nice breakdown of the improvements to get that power So is the pipe on the new 14 getting less of a gain because its in a higher state of tune? I thought the old 14's got a little more power out of just the pipe than 8.5?

My guess is that the stock headers are better than the old stockers, therefore they get more HP out of the crate. I could be totally wrong, just a guess.

Just buy the regular Alien Head, unless you have over 200hp you will not need the AH2 and even if it does fit I am guessing it would kill a bit of your low end.

How come Brock always uses 89 octane for dyno runs? I would think that premium would allow less detonation thus more power.

More octane doesn't mean more power. If you engine doesn't have detonation you don't need a higher octane rating. Running a higher octane when it is not needed will actually hurt power output. I and most of the people here run 87 octane at the track and street.

I'm aware of that but I would imagine you are tuned but he does this with stock bikes with no tuning. Don't most bikes start to lean out with a pipe as you see in his dyno graphs around 7,000 rpm he is right close to 14-1 which I would think might get him close to detonation which would then reduce the power.

My bike is still running a little rich with 89 octane and it is piped with no signs of detonation and it does run better on 89 than 93
