There is NO Cat in the 14R Headpipe!!! I keep hearig that there is, that a bona fide source said so, etc.
Maybe in CA, maybe in France, maybe on Mars, but not here.
There is NO Cat there............. at least NOT in MINE, and I am in Texas.
Yes, there is a baffle, but that is NOT a honeycomb catalyst or any kind of cat.

My 2012 ZX14R do not have one in the head pipe either. Maybe some of us have the "Ringer Bikes" that don't come with them in there. lol

I had to save something for the sequel - No Cats II.
In that one, Chuck Norris rips the exhaust open with his bare hands so we can see all and dares anyone to ever claim a cat exists .................

Yeh, I checked w/a couple of different places a while back and no one was really clear. They assumed it did; it looked like there was; etc., but, when pushed, they didn't really know. I would have pushed harder if there was an option for a single can slip-on. Then I would have left the stock headers on there. As it is, I had to go w/headers anyway to get the single sided exit. So I gave up the quest. Good to know, though.
