Another very fast,extremely fast Busa
Our family has been out of drag racing for some time now here in South Africa , when I read this article/Ad of Shinko tyres in a local bike mag I just had to share this with my fellow Zx 14 members. They claim the Turbo Busa runs 374 Km/h( 233.75mph) from a standing start to 1000m( 0,6214mile) with a1/4 mile time of 9,60 at 271 Km/h(169,37mph). This bike is a normal road bike with a slightly stretched arm not slammed to the ground like a propper drag bike running on a road Shinko 010 or 011 tyre. This was done at a local drag strip where I believe they have just run 384km/h(240mph)and broke the old record.
This sounds like BS to me we have raced against Barry Henson Busa's in the past surely this bike is not that fast.

9.60@169.37 for the quarter doesn't seem right, too slow an e.t. for such high mph.

Not so sure i would call it BS ??
must be top ending pretty well though if its at 169 in the 1/4 then 233 not far passed the 1/2
I am trying to get the ball rolling on a 1km long track here in Aussie and thats about the speeds were allowing for in braking distance
I have been working on the ~210 1/2 mile speeds the fast mile guys are putting down pretty often..
last time out on my turbo bus streetbike i was having traction probs at the start , and all the NA guys were getting a good laugh at my 10.6/165

SOUND ABOUT RIGHT ...trick toms busa ran somewheres around 250mph at texas mile.. and when at the strip it ran like 10.0's @180mph .. if i remember correctly.. note its a daily rider and not a 100% drag bike other wise it be alot quicker ET
