pop and flame from exhaust
I installed a manual cam tensioner on my bike went riding on a cool night and my wife says that she sees flame from my exhaust as I accelerate and it pops. so I stop the bike and give it a 4K rev and shure enough its poping from the exhaust. what could this be I didnt have this issue prior to the cam tensioner installation. BTW I installed the cam, tensioner because my stock one was not working and you could here the cam chain rattling.
HELP!!!!!!!

Generally means you running rich. Don't see how installing a cam tensioner could cause that. Can only guess you put something together wrong. Wonder if it is possible your chain slipped and the engine sequence is now out of phase... but IANAMechanic so... grain of salt and all.

it seems I lost the map I reinstalled the map and now it doesn't pop IDK but I'll ride it for the night and see how it goes.
