zx14r shifting problems

To all zx14r experiencing "downshifting "problems.
Go to FULL SYNTHETIC OIL and adjust clutch to #6 or the furthest possible. This will increase clutch rod travel and Insure plate separation. Also make sure chain is adjusted properly. This stopped the "downshifting, hang ups" on my 2012 zx14r period. My bike ALWAYS up shifted properly but occasionally when hot would hang up on downshift.

Oil will help -

Factory Pro made a Pro Shift Kit to fix the downshifting issue that some zx14's have - and improve shifting in general. Then, oil type, clutch and chain adj make less difference.
