Despite its weight, the bike manoeuvres through the twisties fairly effectively. Beginning a corner requires little effort, but chicanes that demand quick changes serve as a reminder of the bike's weight. This turns' slowing is accomplished with huge 320mm tyres.
The Hayabusa's mix of cruise control and the Active Speed Limiter provides a special rider aid. As far as contemporary touring bikes go, cruise control is a fairly common feature, but the Active Speed Limiter is not. It enables the rider to set a personal speed limit so they won't be hassled by the police. If you need to temporarily go beyond your predetermined limit to pass, just swiftly twist the throttle, and the system will permit it.
The three separate engine power modes are the most important aspect of the SIRS, but it also offers additional features like hill hold assistance, quick starting (one press of the starter while in N), and low RPM assistance (for stop-and-go traffic,Level one is full ‘Busa and gives full power and the quickest throttle response. Levels two and three have progressively less power and throttle response for more casual riding or in low traction situations.. ____________
