Duhamel comments on the 2008 CBR1000RR

From RoadRacingWorld:

Honda's all-new, 2008 CBR1000RR was conspicuously absent from the public eye at the dealer show, but Duhamel said he was allowed to see and sit on the machine briefly.

"I did see it. I sat on it. It was there," laughed Duhamel. "My hat's off to Honda this year. They definitely seem to have put together an incredible motorcycle, seriously. The bike is definitely different. You won't mistake it for the 2007 model. It's nice to see a new model associated with a new look. It's definitely a different motorcycle. It seems to be very light, very tight, very short."

Good to see him recovering. More good news is Hodgson will be racing AMA again, this time as Duhamel's teamate on the CBR1K and he'll also race the Daytona 200 on the 600. Hopefully the 08 1K and Hodgy's development skills will inject some life into American Honda. Personally I still think they should go back to using HRC kit bikes or buy them from Ten Kate.

Great post!

I really am anxious to see what the changes are for the new Honda weapon.
