Me? I'm still undecided between the CBR and the ZX. I'd lean towards the 1000RR, as of now, because I'm a street rider. The Honda has better mid-range; fit and finish; it's lighter and more nimble; it's more comfortable; and Honda's still have better resale, as a rule. I still find it hard to walk away from the ZX top-end, though.

I just gave back what he handed out. Only difference. My accounts have literally transpired.
I made sure I stepped up with facts, not just rants. Thats what's hurts most. The bruising of egos with facts that aren't liked but, none the less are true. Then, those with the bruised pride lash out with personal insults.
I've always believed in "Put up or shut up". I've shown that I'll "put up" when I have to. The response that gets on this site is personal attacks.
Listen, we can do this til the end of time. The outcome will be the same.
What kills me is now my charactor is being attacked by jerk-offs that have no clue about anything other than to just post worthless crap.
Lets think back to some things I've contributed to this board.
OH, I know! I was the 1st shop to set-up & tune the 2006 ZX14 w/o secondaries. Another big named sponser of this site got there alil' late so his response was to tell the members of this board that taking the flys out was potentially dangerous & that those that had done that were irresponsible. Well, I went round & round with him until lo & behold he conceded that after much research I WAS RIGHT!
But, the difference was. I gave my map to those members who asked for it. He made you buy his exhaust & promise not to share his maps. I also was the 1st. to confirm that the speedohealer removed the limiter on the same bike. I posted b4 & after results of all findings. So, to all of you that think I'm just some dude comin' here to troll the forums, do alil' research.
I stand behind everything I say, I will take it to the end. I invite anyone in the area to prove otherwise & I'll gladly post all results. Obviously, we'll have to take any racing to a closed course so that worm-hole doesn't get his panties in a bunch.
I don't think I can validate it anymore than that. Not about ego, just the facts!
That's all well and good, excepting you have nothing to prove. At least, not to me. I don't know you from Adam (Figuratively, of course.). Racing has nothing to do w/the issue, as far as I'm concerned. The CBR is a great bike, but it does not seem to have near the top-end juice of the ZX. That's not terribly relevant to me, as I'm a street rider. Light, flickable, and mid-range rule on the street, as far as I'm concerned. As do refinement, quality, fit and finish, and name (Don't get me wrong. I have Kawi's, and have had numerous others.). Different strokes for different folks. I'm glad we don't all ride the same bike(s). That'd suck.
In any event, I was not starting a battle. Just noting how it appears to those dropping in for info. I've only been around a couple of days, and I'm already weary of this bit. I love a good, heated discussion, but this is negative and wasteful.
BTW, I recall all the stuff going on around here w/the origin of the ZX14. I was not one of the initiators (As I'm severely, mechanically retarded!), but I was there reading and doing. I had an '06 w/Brock's Ti Gen. 3, no 'flies, TRE, PC w/'flies-out map, and a high-flow filter.). I remember the debates, especially Brock and FBA. Anyhow...

Check this chart out: the zx10 is faster 0-60, 1/4 mile, 100-180, 0-180, ALL categories! Only the Gixxer beats it in any category actually when you look at the 1000's numbers at least.
 
All of that is drag times, from a dead stop. That's not the same as a good roll-on. They even said in there they had trouble w/the launches on the RR because of the clutch ("They" being Canet.). I like top gear roll-ons. It's good info for street riders. I'm not always geared down to race, nor do I want to have to. Again, different folks. They're all good stuff.

because had I not mirrored it from the R1 forum to here (it turned into smackhouse material), it'd have already played out.
I didn't see the direction it would take and if 1K is done with it I'll close it.

My 2 cents.....no one asked for it..but in the smackhouse who cares right.:
I like zx1kr's stand up "can do" attitude.....and he does not strike me like the kind of guy that just blows smoke....genuine and original is a good thing........
Sure he lacks refinement and attacks personally hard ...no doubt he would benefit to mix in more of his social graces....but hey....folks here play to win......? and without exception "we all need improvement....."
not bashing anyone..........if I was in a fox hole at war up to my knees in opposition he would be the guy I would want in there fighting with me.......
taken care guys.......again we all need improvement......that much is certain....this too shall pass..... 
I still don't like the Honda  ....but that's just me...
