I'm removing a Concours gas tank next week to patch a leak...

If anyone has any PDFs that detail how to remove the tank it would be appreciated. Otherwise, I'll wing it. I haven't been here in a while, how is everybody? I finished my BA at Columbia and now I'm a Columbia Graduate student studying Sustainability management...but I still would love an assist with the gas tank removal..I still have my 2008 conny and sh's going strong. I wrecked a BMW GS 800 a ways back and recently blew the motor on a Triumph Tiger 800---but my conny is going strong--I hope to hear from you folks

Maybe there's an exploded parts diagram on something like bike bandit?

Read the shop manual remove bolts and get help to hold it up or drain it with a hand pump. I almost dropped mine .the fuel line clip is a bit hard to remove. Used a 90 degree angled pick and carefully lifted it up to unlock fuel line . Wear goggles so it does not spray your eyes. Enjoy your Connie and good luck.

This post somehow made it into a dream last night. Dreamt there was a C14 in a garage under my house and the tank was rusting along the back right bottom seam. Thieves were trying to steal the bike. It had a rather square car tire for the front tire. The bike was white with a giant blue stripe. The keyless start also didn't work.
