Been better... been worse. Been dealing with doctors, specialists and quacks (aka: surgeons) since 9/08 over a hands & shoulders issue. Has kept me off my 10, lil' ex250 and ole KDX for over a year. Am getting better, but the "joys" of self-employment have buried me. Guess it's better to be overworked than unemployed.

Legally the Better Business Bureau is worthless. They simply take 'reports' and have no jurisdiction.
Take the time, if they are a US company, and sue their ass in small claims. If they show up the judge will rule in your favor, and if they don't show up, the judge will rule in your favor.
It will send them a $ message and you can sue for breach of your credit/debit card fair use rules as they put a poison pill into the 'dispute' process, which is illegal.

True, the BBB is basically worthless when it comes to resolving anything. Especially when the company in question won't even reply. On the other hand, they are usually a decent source for "last know addresses".

It was actually both hands and later both shoulders. Hands were so swollen, all the wrinkles in the skin at the knuckles were gone. Looked weird and felt worse. About 11 months later, any shoulder movement felt like I was being stabbed. Really sucked. Couldn't sleep for more than an hour or so before I'd have to get out of bed and walk it off. Shoulder pain is now gone and the hand swelling is almost gone. Ran up six figures worth of medical bills. Had about $10K out of pocket. After hundreds of tests, x-rays and carpel tunnel surgery on both hands, turned out to be inflammatory arthritis (supposedly). Do a self injection once a week ($1,500 a pop - co-pay $0) and a couple pills everyday.
My biggest problem now is having had little to no use of my arms and hands for a year and half is that my muscles are so weak, I still can't do half of what I want to. I started working out about a month ago, but it's gonna take a while before I even get close to where I was (still a wimp). Real frustrating. At least it doesn't take both hands to pour from a gallon of milk anymore. We'll see how it works out, but it will be a while before I can ride anything bigger then my '09 EX250.
It's a good thing I can do most of things I used to do at work, 'cuz we're about to get real busy with political jobs (signs, buttons, banners, t-shirts et. al.). Our "Political Seasons" usually seriously cuts into my riding time (and posting at Bikeland time), but for now, it's okay. I need to build up some more strength if I want to be hossin' that old 10R through a twisty or two.

Fraudulent Chargeback Policy

This is Exotic Sportbikes policy, not your credit card company.
In the future call the 1-800 # on back of the card and say you got ripped off, stop payment, cancel the card and re-issue a new one with a different number. The credit card company works for you, not the seller.
