What happened is you still ran slower than my 09 zx14 with nothing but a strap and lowered ... To bad nice try ... 66+ inches long with a Race ECU 9.97 .. Thats long way from 9.60s of a stock wheel base zx14 ..

Smokin your such a putz. You fail you to mention the ZX14 is over 100lbs lighter with a fairing and has the aerodynamics of a fighter jet. OOOHHH your so much faster what is that 3 bike lengths. I could spit on you from that distance.

Sorry a little more than 3 bikes ....Not my problem your bike doesn't have any aeros and has the weight of a tank ...

Go back and read what i said on StarVmax and Bikeland .... I said with a pro light weight rider i think it will go a high 9s or at least it should go high 9s .... You didn't do that 9.97 Stock did you ?? ... I'll Bet money you had the air filter removed also .... Nice try Tubomark ...

Fact is the '09 VMax will run 9.97 @ 142mph stock unstrapped and not lowered. We don't want to hear what you can do. Bring your punk ass stock unstrapped not lowered ZX14's to Atco, on a bike night you pick. And you will get a race, and you will lose. Well I hope both you guys run at Atco, and walk away shaking hands. I too have a stock ZX-14 (fies removed but stock pipe), I will be ruiting for the ZX-14.
However you post some ground rules and get all the Imfo
Both riders get weighted in full gear
Both bikes are either lowered or not lowered
Both bikes are weighted (this may be difficult)
As for the race itself both riders post best slip, your gonna have bad runs (tire spin, wheelie, missed shift). Hopefully you guys should get at least 8-10 runs
My prediction
09 V-max wins the 1/8 (more torque)
ZX-14 takes the 1/4, more arodynamics
Good luck to both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am no hater of the v-max but you should come to maple grove raceway during the super bike shootout i would like to see a stock v-max run 9's do you have a video or time slip to prove it??

On another note...I thought everyone agreed that the Vmax would likely run a high 9 with a little work?
But it is funny to see all the Vmax guys acting like Christ has risen over running a 9.97 on a 66.9" bike.
