Organization is well under way for the fifth international gathering held by the Bolognese motorbike constructor, which runs from 28 June to 1 July 2007 at the Misano World Circuit at Misano Adriatico, Italy. Tens of thousands of bike lovers from all around the world will converge to share their passion for Ducati, and for motorcycles in general, at one of the most famous race tracks in the world. The occasion marks the transformation of the Misano World Circuit into the "Red Planet" in honor of the historic color of the bike from Borgo Panigale.

The WDW2007 sees the customary participation of official Ducati riders. Troy Bayliss and Lorenzo Lanzi will be there to meet fans on Friday, while Loris Capirossi and Casey Stoner will arrive on Sunday after the grand prix at Assen.

There are many activities planned for the event: free laps on the track, lectures at the Ducati University, exhibitions of historic motorcycles, stunt shows, the competition for best customized bike, the charity auction, and much, much more.

This year also includes the fourth edition of the Ducati Desmo Challenge which will be held in conjunction with the worldwide Ducati gathering. From Thursday to Saturday, the track will be the scene of races for the trophy.

The already packed program is continuing to evolve and guarantees an experience that no motorcycle lover can afford to miss.
