SPEED will broadcast four hours of Amp'd Mobile Supercross action from Sam Boyd Stadium, which boasts the longest start in the sport's history. The four hour coverage includes a 30 minute preview show in addition to a wrap-up show. The following day CBS Sports will recap the 2006-'07 Amp'd Mobile Supercross season with a recap show airing at pm 1:00EST/ 10:00am PST. Before a national television audience CBS Sports will deliver an action-packed hour recap show to close out the 2006-'07 season on Sunday. Looking back, CBS Sports will cover one of the greatest seasons ever, which has been highlighted by the emergence of an entirely new crop of young up and coming talent that will take Amp'd Mobile Supercross into the future. The 2006-'07 season highlights also include Ricky Carmichael's final races and retirement tour, James Stewart's run at his first-ever Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series championship as well as his second Amp'd Mobile World Supercross GP title, Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto's first Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites Championship, rookie Ben Townley's dramatic, come-from-behind championship season in the Eastern Regional AMA Supercross Lites championship and more. For the second consecutive season, the Amp'd Mobile Supercross Finals will air live on SPEED as the action-packed Las Vegas race closes another chapter in supercross history featuring the Dave Coombs Sr East/West Shootout. Points leader James Stewart, of Haines City, Fla., looks to put an exclamation mark on a stellar season en route to his first AMA Supercross championship. Bragging rights for the AMA Supercross Lites class will be won in the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout, where the top riders from the Western Region will line up against the best from the Eastern Region in a race that has been building since each regional series began. In the West, Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto stormed his way to his first AMA Supercross Lites championship while his teammate Ben Townley claimed victory in the East, winning his first title since moving to the U.S. from New Zealand. Other Lites competition will come from one of the deepest Lites fields in the history of the sport which also includes Yamaha's Ryan Morais, of Temecula, Calif., and Jason Lawrence, of Carlsbad; Suzuki's Ryan Dungey, of Belle Plaine, Minn., a two-time winner in the East; Honda's Josh Grant, of Riverside, Calif.; KTM's Mike Alessi, of Victorville, Calif.; and Kawasaki's Darcy Lange, of Hemet, Calif.
