Thanks to an extension of their agreement with Dorna Sports, Oakley is pleased to announce that the brand will continue to be the official sunglasses supplier for the 2009 and 2010 MotoGP World Championship seasons.

Oakley has had a presence in the MotoGP paddock for several years and they became the MotoGP Sunglasses Supplier at the beginning of the 2008 season. They are the personal suppliers to numerous MotoGP stars including Loris Capirossi, Andrea Dovizioso, Sete Gibernau, Nicky Hayden, Jorge Lorenzo, James Toseland, Casey Stoner and Chris Vermeulen.

The latest agreement will also see Oakley continue to provide sunglasses for Dorna staff as they travel to MotoGP circuits around the world, whilst the highly popular 'Oakley Rolling O Lab' product demonstration truck will once again visit Laguna Seca and Indianapolis - in addition to select European rounds this season.

"Oakley is one the most sought after brands in MotoGP," said Oakley MotoGP Sports Marketing Manager, Giovanni Balestra. "Oakley is pleased to extend its cooperation with Dorna as official supplier to MotoGP and is looking forward to a new and exciting season. The presence of our Rolling O Lab in both US and European races reflect our brand's commitment to the championship and its riders."

"MotoGP riders, our staff and millions of MotoGP fans around the world continually provide highly positive feedback on the style and quality of Oakley's sunglasses," stated Dorna Sports' Managing Director Pau Serracanta. "And we are therefore delighted to secure their continued presence in the MotoGP World Championship paddock for two more years."
