2009 Biennial Session Meetings of the Road Racing Commission2009-11-28 15:01The meetings of the Road Racing Commission took place on Monday 9 November in Cullera (Spain). The main decisions and modifications are the following: Launching of the FIM e-Power International Championship (cf CP du 19/11/2009) Rules available on the FIM website within the next weeks. QTEL-FIM Endurance World Championship and Cup - Driving time and rest period: The rider will have to stop at his pit and his motorcycle has to stay there for a time equal to the non-respected rest time. No work can be carried out on the machine except the use of tyre warmers and the change of tyres. - Minimum weight of motorcycles will be: For Three and Four cylinders up to 1000cc: 170 kg for races not taking place partly at night. 175 kg for races taking place partly at night. For Two cylinders up to 1200cc: 175 kg for races not taking place partly at the night. 180 kg for races taking place partly at night. - Superpole format: To use the current Superpole format of the FIM Superbike World Championship (with one set of tyres only). - Reduction of the noise limit for Formula EWC to 105 dB/A (with a 4 dB/A tolerance after the race).
