Wil Hahn to Make Monster Energy Cup Debut on a 450cc Motorcycle

Feld Motor Sports® announced today that Geico Honda’s Wil Hahn, of Decatur, Texas, will ride in the second annual Monster Energy Cup at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium on October 20.

Hahn, 22, will make his Monster Energy Cup debut aboard a 450cc motorcycle. Hahn enjoyed a career-best second place overall in the 2010 Western Regional Supercross Lites Class Championships. Following the opening race of the 2012 Western Regional Supercross Lites Class Championships, Hahn missed five races due to an injury. Upon his return, he finished fifth in Seattle, fourth in Salt Lake City and third in Las Vegas.

“I think it will be challenging, but at the same time something different for us, which is nice,” said Hahn. “You can do whatever you want to do. Bring a 250 with loud pipes or a 450 with whatever you want.”
