Just one week after the MotoGP paddock resumed action in the Czech Republic, the PETRONAS Sprinta Racing riders are back on track this weekend at the stunning Red Bull Ring in Austria.

Following a difficult weekend for the PETRONAS duo in Brno, Ayumu Sasaki and Adam Norrodin are looking to step up their game at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Brno was a tough experience for Ayumu Sasaki but the Japanese rider is more positive than ever returning to a circuit where he holds many good memories from his time in the Red Bull Rookies Cup.
For Adam Norrodin, the Red Bull Ring marks one of his strongest circuits on the calendar, where he hopes to take full advantage of his experience and confidence around the 4.3km track.

“I’m still disappointed with what I did in Brno, so I’m really looking forward to getting to Austria to make amends. Last year the Red Bull Ring was one of my strongest tracks, so I feel confident that I can do even better this weekend. The set-up we had in Brno worked really well and I felt good on the bike, so hopefully we don’t have to change so much and I can carry on improving. For sure I have to focus a lot more on my qualifying this weekend too; the target is the top four rows.”

“It was a tough weekend for us in the Czech Republic, so I’m ready to start fresh in Austria. This is a track that I rode quite a lot in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, so from the first practice I can just concentrate on myself and work on setting up the bike really well. This weekend my target is to forget about the position and really focus on just pushing hard every single lap.”
