Leading global insurer joins forces with the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup

The start of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup is getting ever closer and Dorna Sports is delighted to announce Allianz as the official insurance partner for the series, with a four-year deal bringing the company on board from 2018 to 2021.

The agreement will see the Allianz brand presented on the Energica Ego Corsa MotoE™ machine, as well as on the leathers of all riders competing in the Cup. In addition, the Allianz logo will appear on the pitlane safety line and throughout the E-Paddock compound at each round of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup. At those Grands Prix, the company will also be present in the public areas and E-Paddock to engage with fans and showcase its new customer solutions, innovations and partnerships.
“We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with Dorna Sports for the brand new MotoE series,” says Jean-Marc Pailhol, Head of Group Market Management & Distribution at Allianz. “Electric mobility is reshaping the world in which we live and what better way to showcase this technology than a fully electric racing series. After Formula E, MotoE is a very natural fit with our global partnership strategy on digital sports and focus on investing into innovation and eSports. By working closely in partnership with Dorna, we are very confident that this new and exciting platform will continue to position Allianz as the main insurance player in the electric mobility ecosystem.”

“We’re proud to announce a company such as Allianz as a partner of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup,” says Pau Serracanta, Managing Director at Dorna Sports. “This new parallel path of racing is an exciting project and our partnership with Allianz creates another high calibre collaboration based on both companies' vision of innovation. We’re excited to get started.”
