Orange County Gentleman’s Ride Ranks 3rd in the U.S.

Once a year over 650 cities and 120,000 riders worldwide come together to embark on their own Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to benefit the Movember Organization in support of men’s prostate cancer research and male suicide prevention.
To show support of this special event, Blue C provided overall event management in association with Ducati of Newport Beach. We also worked with this year’s Grand Marshall to create an event video for social media along with initial campaign development and visual direction, partnership management and enthusiast outreach.

Orange County’s ride certainly delivered on the commitment of riders, quality of the ride and a majestic ending destination of the Monarch Beach Resort located in Dana Point, California. With a total 530 registered riders and a charity donation of over $40,000, the third year of the Orange County DGR ride rose to become the third largest in the United States. Blue C and Ducati of Newport Beach started developing and organizing this event in June and have supported this ride for the last three years.
This year’s Grand Marshall, Doug McLaughlin, CEO of Nobleman Magazine, alongside last year’s Grand Marshall, the legendary Steve Caballero, led the massive snake-like group of riders from Ducati Newport Beach through the Back Bay to Vans Shoes Corporate Headquarters down Pacific Coast Highway to the four star Monarch Beach Resort. The afternoon reception was spent at Monarch Beach Resort’s Grand Lawn overlooking the main pool and Pacific Ocean.
