Adam Norrodin is excited to be returning to Moto2 action for PETRONAS Sprinta Racing at this weekend’s Thai Grand Prix, kicking off his third weekend with the squad and in the Moto2 class as he continues to stand in for the injured Khairul Idham Pawi at the Buriram International Circuit.

Pleased to be heading to a track where he’s a former race winner, the Malaysian rider is hoping that he’ll be able to continue to learn and improve over the weekend at the red-hot Buriram circuit located some 400km north-east of Bangkok.

After an early end to his Aragon GP last time out, Norrodin has undergone treatment to his left shoulder injuries at the Kuala Lumpur Sports Medicine Centre in order to be in the best condition for this weekend’s fifteenth round of the World Championship.

Moto2 action gets underway at the Buriram International Circuit on Friday 4th October with practice kicking off at 1055 local time (1155 Malaysian time), ahead of the 24-lap race on Sunday 6th October.

“Buriram is a circuit I really like and where I have a lot of experience there. I won there in the Asia Talent Cup and hopefully I can do really well again this weekend. Obviously, Aragon didn’t go the way I wanted and I still have a little bit of pain in my shoulder, but every day of physiotherapy has made it feel stronger.”
