Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s McAdoo, Smith, and Hammaker Ready To Take Over As The West Lines Up In Orlando2021-02-18 06:36
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Cameron McAdoo (No. 31), Jordon Smith (No. 80), and Seth Hammaker (No. 150) have patiently waited for their chance at the 2021 season and will get to see their first gate drop this Saturday as the Western Regional 250SX riders take over in Orlando. Camping World Stadium will host its second round of the season, but thankfully without the impact of torrential rains that were experienced last weekend. Each of the riders brings their own set of skills ready to compete for the top step of the podium.
Last season, McAdoo was able to climb onto the podium once in Salt Lake City and is already eager to make that a regular occurrence in 2021. He’s been working hard to be a front-runner among the Western Regional contenders and is looking to grab his first career victory. Teammate Smith has been waiting since last March to line up again after experiencing a knee injury that sidelined him for 2020. It was a long road, including a little time to get married, but he’s eager to prove he’s worthy of a podium finish.
Rounding out the team of seasoned riders is the rookie. Hammaker will enjoy his very first professional supercross race this weekend and will lean heavily on his experienced teammates and championship-winning team.
“The riders have been waiting a long time to get on the road and we can’t wait to see how things shake out this weekend. We may be at the same location, but this will be a completely different race for these guys. Opening rounds are always exciting and it’s going to be fun to have a rookie who is experiencing this all for the first time. We’re ready for a win.” - Zach White, Team R&D Manager
