Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Ready To Rebound at High Point

2022-06-16 07:16
Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Jo Shimoda and Seth Hammaker both had their fair share of challenges at Thunder Valley and are looking forward to High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, for a rebound ride before a weekend off. Shimoda currently sits third overall in the championship standings, while Hammaker is seventh.

Shimoda put in a heartfelt ride in Colorado as he rode through an illness that was keeping him from being at 100 percent. With a week on the mend, he’s ready to return to the front of the pack, challenging for the podium. Teammate Hammaker had a great day going but was forced to come from behind in Moto 2, leaving him to desire even more out of his race in Pennsylvania.

“Again our starts let us down in Lakewood. After reviewing our video, both Jo and Seth were in good position halfway up but didn't execute into the turn. We'll work on those again this week. Both riders lacked the speed they have shown in the opening rounds, another aspect for us to work on this week heading into High Point.” - Iain Southwell, Team Manager.
