Victory for KTM factory rider Ronnie Renner at Red Bull X-Fighters freestyle motocross event in Mexico City. More than 42.000 spectators watched the spectacular show.It was an unbelievable final run: Nine motocross freestylers battled for the semifinals until the top three were ready to fight for the victory. Finally KTM rider Ronnie Renner duelled Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg and Kenny "The Cowboy" Bartram sucessfully with big and very stylish jumps, although Stenberg pulled off an amazing "back flip to side saddle landing". Third overall went to Bartram, "The Cowboy", who had some mistakes in his final run. Among the other competitors were FMX-pros like Ailo Gaup, Beau Bamburg, Jim McNeil, Manu Troux, Javier Villegas and Nick Franklin, who also turned the arena into a boiling pot.
After the event Ronnie Renner remarked: "This is the raddest day of my life. To have this many people here ... I was born to do this; I love to do this; the competition was unreal. And the crowd ... I was having so much fun and they were so good to me, that I didn't want to get off the big dirt jump."
The next Red Bull X-Fighters will hit capital's Las Ventas arena on July 21.
