Bikeland.org Celebrates 6 Years Online!

We're 6!

How time flies! What started as a hobby has swelled into something more. Bikeland.org went live November 20th, 2000. In the past 6 years Bikeland has grown from its origins as a small enthusiast's website to becoming an Industry publication with well over 100,000 readers a month.

For our 6th anniversary we're rolling out a new frontpage streamlined with industry news, more featured articles and the beginnings of a new structure put in place to help deal with the years of information amassed on the site's servers.

In addition to this Bikeland is proud to announce the opening of our office in Anaheim, California, thanks to the help of Kerry Bryant and Area P. With direct access to the Area P dyno, we hope to provide all of you with even more detailed information and reviews of the latest bikes to hit the market.

Our forums remain an integral part of this website, and the core of our online community. For 2007 Bikeland now features a dedicated section for the 2008 Kawasaki Concours14 as well as new sections dedicated to Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati, KTM, Aprilia, Buell, Harley Davidson, BMW and Ural.

As always, we do our best to promote free speech and pride ourselves in offering one of the least moderated motorcycle sites online today.

We'd like to thank all of our corporate sponsors who've help foot the bill to keep us live and available to all of you 24/7 for the last 6 years. We'd also like to specifically thank you, the readers and contributors for participating in this site.

You've helped create a real viable alternative to traditional media, and your voice is large enough that now you're being heard. We can't wait to see what the next 6 years will bring!
