Alpinestars Releases New Kit for 2008

Alpinestars, manufacturers of super-nice motorcycle stuff have released four new products for their 2008 model lineup. Included are the new MX-1 men's jacket, the Aero tank pack and two bits for the ladies - the ladies Stella Ice glove and the Stella Torre waterproof boot.

1.2-1.4mm full-grain leather provides excellent abrasion resistance. Removable thermal vest. Multiple stitched main-seam construction for maximum tear resistance. Ergonomically placed Schoeller stretch Kevlar and leather flex zones for optimal comfort and fit. Aerodynamic back hump.


Perforated leather panels for increased cooling. Adjustable waist.


Patented external high-modulus thermoplastic protection on the shoulders. Removable CE certified GP protectors on the elbow with injection molded shell and dual density foam padding. Back protector compartment with PE padding (CE certified RC back protector available as accessory). Chest padding pocket with PE padding (Alpinestars Bionic Chest Pad accessory upgrade)

Additional details

YKK Semi Auto Lock zippers. 3 internal and 2 external pockets. Connection zipper allows attachment to selected Alpinestars' leather pants.

Combination nylon and polyester construction. Large, expandable, top bag is engineered for high cargo capacity with a low profile for aerodynamic performance while riding. Clear map holder is positioned on the top of the bag for navigation on the bike. Fully expandable from 20 to 30 litres with internal laptop sleeve pocket to accommodate most 15" computers. Ultra-soft, full length, leather flexible accordion expansion "throat" from toe to upper shin gives excellent fit and comfort which, combined with a wrap around Achilles flex panel, allows easy and smooth forward and back flex. Inner sole features a shock absorption layer to promote riding comfort

All-Round Protection

Full grain leather, tall upper with calf expansion insert to allow comfort and wide ranging fit. 100% waterproof membrane. Heel and toe sections are reinforced for protection and support.

Security and Fit

Top grain leather shin protector strap ensures proper closure and width adjustment, while a mid-shin strap allows for refinement of fit and feel.
